Rules of the Society (herein known as AWAS)
1. With regard to shooting, Political Correctness is not allowed in any physical, mental, documentary or as yet discovered form by members of AWAS.
2. Consequent to Rule 1, no activities or membership will be allowed that involve CRB checks or anything of that ilk. Incidents of political correctness will be assessed with regard to continued membership of AWAS.
3. Members seen or reported and verified to have been retiring from shooting (not just wandering to the toilet and suchlike) in rain or snow will be immediately transferred to membership of FWAS http://www.fwas.co.uk (Fair Weather Archers Society) .
4. Umbrellas and other devices than a hat are not allowed to be used for protection from the weather whilst going to, waiting to or actually shooting.
5. Members shall actively educate, coach and encourage FWAS http://www.fwas.co.uk members to become members of AWAS.
6. At least 2 members of AWAS must agree to any proposed new or amended rule.
Membership is free and may be given to you as a gift by another person. However, evidence of suitability is required. This may be in the form of photographs or verified reports, including time, place and witnesses.
