06 10 2010 Welcome to the soggier and colder seasons of the year. We look forward to reporting more fun in rain, ice and snow.
Last Sunday, Brackenhacker, our President and Terry got suitably soaked having ventured out to start laying out a new practice course at Fleet Ibex. They have placed nice blue markers on trees. These are expected to be mistaken by a certain older archer as aiming points to improve his tree strike rate. Now we have a hard core surface to a lot of the track into the woods there will be no excuses to miss attendance on Sundays for practice due to inability to negotiate the track in battery powered toys.......... Take note FWAS President if you read this page! No photographs this time but there will be opportunities in the coming weeks..
New photographs will be posted here when we have some noteworthy ones (a link to Picasa, best viewed in slideshow mode). More reports on page 4.
Membership is free and may be given to you as a gift by another person. However, evidence of suitability is required. This may be in the form of photographs or verified reports, including time, place and witnesses.
Reports and nominations may be sent to Fleet Ibex Field Archery Club http://www.fleetibexfieldarchery.co.uk or via the club on http://www.facebook.com (just search for Fleet Ibex) or by email to Adrian Shiner, adrian.shiner@virgin.net.
New members will receive a membership card.
